COVID-19 Vaccine Access for those 75 and Older

We all have friends, neighbors, or loved ones who are 75 years of age or older. Those individuals now qualify for Phase 1b of the COVID-19 vaccine distribution in Connecticut and are eligible to receive a vaccine. There are several different vaccination scheduling options:

  • Online at the Department of Public Health VAMS (Vaccine Administration Management System) website: https://dphsubmissions.ct.gov/OnlineVaccine
  • Directly through a participating provider
  • Calling the Appointment Assist Line at 877-918-2224. This may be the best option for a senior without a computer or email. Due to high call volume, it may take some time to get through. We know that the number of people staffing the phone line has been or will be increased. The assist line is open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Calling 2-1-1 for help with locating a vaccination site that accepts phone scheduling.
