West Hartford’s past Town Councilor, and Board of Education member Clare Kindall, was formally endorsed by the West Hartford Democratic Party to run for Attorney General of the State of Connecticut on the Democratic ticket on the evening of March 27th at the West Hartford Town Hall.
Clare Kindall has worked in the Attorney General’s Office since 1998, and as Assistant Attorney General Clare has led cases against the federal government, big banks, pharmaceutical, and telecom companies and polluters. Defended project labor agreements, and recovered millions of dollars for the State and led a unit that saved Connecticut Residents more than $100 million in electricity costs.
One of Clare’s biggest supporters is State Senator Beth Bye who had these word; “I have known Clare since she first entered elected office on the West Hartford School Board. She was a thoughtful, hard-working public servant for West Hartford. With her long record of protecting the environment, consumers, students, and the most vulnerable in our society, Clare will provide proven, effective leadership as Attorney General”.
Kindall’s platform is that “Today more than ever, we must work together to defend our schools, our environment, our laws, and basic human rights.”
